Kristal graduated from Grand Canyon University with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and Special Education. She is a certified PK-12 special education teacher and has worked with students with special needs since 2008.

She has earned a Master’s Degree in Autism Spectrum Disorder from Grand Canyon University. Kristal has completed Wrights Law Special Education Advocacy Training and is a member of the Council of Parents Attorney and Advocated (COPAA).

Kristal is dedicated to helping parents feel included and valued in the IEP process. She believes that inclusion is one of the most important facets of education and communities and works to educate and support families, districts, and organizations about the value of this principle. Together with parents, she helps create visions and plans for a child’s future with the end goal in mind.

Kristal is a published children’s book author. Her most recent children's book Dream Big with Betty can be found at your local book stores and Amazon. She is the Founder of Five Star Education Advocacy Group a non-profit in Atlanta, Georgia that provides therapy and sensory kits for students with disabilities.
